About the event
The Animal Park is hosting tours for Earth Day with an emphasis on conservation practices that visitors can easily learn to do at home or in their everyday lives!
Signage throughout the park will help guests learn about species-specific conservation efforts. We will also have guided nature trail walks where guests will have the opportunity to learn about native flora and fauna and the efforts they can make to conserve and support local environments.
With over two miles of walking trails throughout the beautifully forested acreage of the Animal Park now available, there are installed balance beams and a variety of informational signage and fact stations posted along the paths that will be sure to help you fall in love with North Carolina wilderness and wildlife. (We do recommend wearing some decent footwear to our Park, but especially for the Nature Trails.)Â
